Role: Software Engineer – Backend
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement high-scale backend modules with a focus on performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Explore and integrate new technologies into Zeotap’s platform.
- Handle customer escalations and resolve technical issues.
- Act as a technical consultant to internal teams and contribute to creative solutions for clients.
- Work across Business Logic, Big Data, Web Applications, and Event Processing.
- Take full ownership of features and modules from development to deployment.
- Follow Zeotap’s privacy and security policies and complete assigned training.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience in developing and deploying high-scale backend solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (preferred).
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Go.
- Good understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Experience with caching technologies and OLTP databases.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Basic understanding of distributed systems and design.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or other Big Data stacks (preferred).
- Familiarity with queuing systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Experience with REST web application frameworks.
