Job Description
Shell is hiring fresh graduates for the role of Process Data Associate Engineer in its Safety, Environment & Asset Management (SEAM) organization. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization in the oil and gas sector. The selected candidates will contribute to Shell’s global programs, ensuring smooth data handling, reporting, and performance tracking.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle and analyze data for reporting and KPI tracking.
- Ensure data security, entitlement, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify production trends and deferment analysis using PI and EC data.
- Create and maintain standardized process documentation and work instructions.
- Develop business visualizations using Power BI or Excel to facilitate decision-making.
- Provide business insights and reports to support performance improvement.
- Work on automation and process optimization for improved efficiency.
- Take ownership of project management and team collaboration.
- Prepare and present business reports, insights, and key meeting takeaways.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related oil and gas fields.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SPOTFIRE and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
- Work Flexibility:
- Ability to work in multiple time zones.
- Willingness to work in odd hours as required.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and stringent deadlines.
