Job Description

Shell is hiring fresh graduates for the role of Process Data Associate Engineer in its Safety, Environment & Asset Management (SEAM) organization. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization in the oil and gas sector. The selected candidates will contribute to Shell’s global programs, ensuring smooth data handling, reporting, and performance tracking.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Handle and analyze data for reporting and KPI tracking.
  • Ensure data security, entitlement, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify production trends and deferment analysis using PI and EC data.
  • Create and maintain standardized process documentation and work instructions.
  • Develop business visualizations using Power BI or Excel to facilitate decision-making.
  • Provide business insights and reports to support performance improvement.
  • Work on automation and process optimization for improved efficiency.
  • Take ownership of project management and team collaboration.
  • Prepare and present business reports, insights, and key meeting takeaways.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related oil and gas fields.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SPOTFIRE and Power BI.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken).
  • Work Flexibility:
    • Ability to work in multiple time zones.
    • Willingness to work in odd hours as required.
    • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and stringent deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in automation and continuous improvement methodologies.
