Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work with a cross-functional team to ensure quality throughout the software life cycle.
- Advocate for quality assurance processes and collaborate with various teams.
- Understand client business processes and identify potential issues.
- Have knowledge of different testing types such as Performance, Load, Stress, Security, Automation, White-box, and Unit testing.
- Innovate and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Define and implement sampling procedures for quality reporting.
- Analyze testing data to identify areas of improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with Development and Business Analyst (BA) teams.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test scripts.
- Track and log defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Generate reports like defect analysis and project status reports.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Maintain a knowledge database and document lessons learned.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience with Manual Testing, Regression Testing, and Integration Testing.
- Familiarity with System Integration Testing and Automation Testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of software testing tools and best practices.
