Role Overview
As a Test Engineer (L4) at Wipro, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and automating test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement Wipro’s Model-Based Testing approach to enhance efficiency and optimize testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Test Case Design & Execution
- Understand business and test requirements to design effective test cases.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate software quality.
- Automate testing using VB macros, scheduling, and GUI automation tools.
- Ensure peer review of test cases to minimize defects and rework.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Identify and report software defects with detailed descriptions and replication patterns.
- Prepare test status dashboards after each test cycle for stakeholders.
- Ensure defects comply with project-defined SLA norms.
Automation & Performance Optimization
- Implement automation frameworks to streamline testing processes.
- Develop test scripts for efficient software validation.
- Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration testing.
Customer Interaction & Support
- Maintain high-quality customer interactions via email, calls, and reporting.
- Ensure timely response to customer requests with no complaints.
- Deliver weekly status reports (WSRs), test execution reports, and dashboards.
