Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage AWS networking solutions (VPC, subnets, route tables, VPN connections).
- Configure and maintain hybrid cloud networking (VPC peering, transit gateways, Direct Connect).
- Manage security components (Security Groups, Network ACLs, Firewalls) to ensure secure AWS communication.
- Monitor network performance using AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and other tools.
- Troubleshoot AWS networking issues and collaborate with senior teams for resolution.
- Automate networking tasks using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS SDKs.
- Support AWS migration projects and optimize network configurations.
- Assist in disaster recovery setup and network testing.
Required Skills & Certifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Foundational level).
- Basic knowledge of AWS networking components (VPC, Route Tables, VPN, Transit Gateways).
- Understanding of network security best practices in AWS.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting AWS network performance.
- Familiarity with network automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty.
- CompTIA Network+ or other relevant network certifications.
