Job Overview
Chrysalis is looking for a Software Engineer to join their Firmenkundenportal (FKP) Engineering Team. This team works closely with Vodafone Germany to maintain and enhance the FKP portal, a platform that enables corporate customers to manage their mobile and fixed-line subscriptions. This role involves feature development, performance optimization, system maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless user experiences.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Feature Development & Enhancement:
- Design and develop new features based on business requirements.
- Optimize existing functionalities to improve performance and user experience.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- System Maintenance & Production Support:
- Investigate and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the Service Delivery Team to troubleshoot system errors.
- Monitor application health and suggest improvements for better stability.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement:
- Work with business analysts, quality engineers, and product owners to deliver projects successfully.
- Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Contribute ideas to enhance system architecture and performance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in software development.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE for backend development.
- Experience working with databases and writing SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Eclipse, IntelliJ, UNIX, XSL, and WildFly is a plus.
- Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively in a global team.
