Job Description

CGI is hiring Associate Systems Engineers to join its team in Bangalore and Chennai. This role provides an excellent opportunity for freshers to kick-start their IT careers by working on cutting-edge technologies and contributing to mission-critical projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide Level 1 IT support, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Research and diagnose reported incidents using available tools and resources.
Log and document all activities and resolutions within the incident management system.
Assign unresolved issues to the appropriate technical support team.
Monitor and expedite ticket resolution, escalating critical issues as needed.
Stay updated with latest system changes, updates, and policies.
Work in a 24/7 rotational shift environment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Full-time graduate (Technical / Engineering background preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and virtualization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Some exposure to scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in collaborative team environments.
- Enthusiastic about continuous learning and career growth.
