Job Description
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be:
- Working with Java and REST APIs: Use your skills in Java programming and RESTful services.
- Participating in Agile Teams: Join daily stand-ups, design sessions, code reviews, and sprint demos.
- Embracing Test-Driven Development: Write unit and integration tests as part of your work.
- Troubleshooting Software: Help maintain cloud-based software and fix issues to minimize downtime.
- Responding to Client Issues: Address any client-reported problems promptly.
- Developing New Features: Work on the full technology stack to fix code issues and add new features.
- Using AI Technology: Leverage AI to improve development efficiency and create exciting features for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 0-2 years in designing, writing, and deploying scalable software.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of the Java stack.
- Familiarity with SQL databases.
- Experience in web application development.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and coding.
- Problem-Solving: Quick learner with strong analytical skills.
- Testing: Some experience with writing unit and integration tests.
- Teamwork: Able to work with engineers on cross-functional agile projects.
- Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Communication:
- Good oral and written English skills.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud hosting solutions, especially AWS.
